A Family

Wow, this was a great session! As the A family are my parent's next door neighbors, I have known the family for a long time.  It was so fun to finally photograph them and have my mom along as my assistant to make the session a fun time for all and to truly capture this family at their best!  I love the way the images turned out!

VW Family

These guys came all the way up from Kansas to see me and have me do their pictures! I was so honored! I had done some of their neices and nephews before so it was great to meet more of the family!  Thanks so much for coming and meeting me in Council Bluffs guys! You were great and I'm sorry little G wasn't happier.  We'll have to try again sometime!

Miss P

Miss P was a practice session of mine as babies are harder to come by it seems!  She is a beauty though!  Her dark hair and dark eyes melt your heart!  She's growing fast as they always seem to do...but her Christmas dress was still big for her in October!

Pippen

J's dog Pippen was a stinker the day I tried to photograph her! She just wanted to run around the neighborhood instead of playing or looking at me. We did get her to sit for a moment and got these.

T's Senior Session

We did T's senior pictures in a few different days as the first one was cold and coudy.  Day 2 was a little windy, but much warmer and we were able to get some great shots both days.

On our way back from dropping off item's at Shop Around The Corner in Glennwood, IA, Luke and I pulled over to get some shots of the sunset.  Luke's great at manuvering the blazer so I can get a good shot:)  Here are the products of our work together!

Black and Whites

These are a few black and whites that I have laying around in my files.  Thought I would share something a little bit different than portraits.

Sunflowers

As it snowed last night, I was looking back through my pictures of the summer. Here are a few of the sunflowers that I grew and are now drying to try eat the seeds!  As much as I am going to miss summer, I really do enjoy winter! I love the snow, cuddling up by the fire, and wearing warm clothes and lots of blankets.  But to honor summer and all of it's fun times....some colorful images to brighten your day!
